Tay Bridge Inspection Project
Geckotech Solutions provided access consultancy and rope access technicians for rescue and support services in connection with the Tay Rail Bridge Inspection Programme. Our experienced teams worked directly with bridge inspectors carrying out the detailed inspection of various elements of the bridge structure.
During the high span phase of the project Geckotech provided innovative tension netting systems to enable the inspectors unhindered access to the under deck elements. Geckotech designed, installed and managed the Tension Netting or walk on netting systems throughout the entire project which was completed safely and successfully.
Tension Netting Systems can be installed to provide safe, fast and unhindered access to under deck elements of bridges, viaducts and piers and provide cost effective access to tanks, pipe racks and bespoke areas.
