Geckotech Solutions Ltd has been a Linkup Approved contractor for over 4 years allowing our PTS trained staff to work trackside carrying out various projects ranging from preparation and coating services on the Forth Rail Bridge, Installation of Tension Netting Systems & Paint Sampling on the Tay Rail Bridge and various inspection projects in railway stations and the various structures associated with the Network Rail Infrastructure.

Geckotech Solutions Ltd have completed many thousand of man hours in the provision of our service on Network Rail Infrastructure throughout the entire UK. Over the years we have supplied safety critical staff, industrial rope access, confined space, consultation on access solutions including the design, installation and management of tension netting systems to clients including a major inspection company with operations worldwide.

Rail industry services avaliable:

  • Consultaion on methods of access for work at height including tension netting and rope access systems
  • Gecko Encapsulation System enabling the use of blasting and painting equipment with no effect to the surrounding environment. This innovative system is a solid and cost effective alternative to scaffold and suspended scaffolding systems. 
  • Supply of IRATA qualified technicians to gain access on bridges, cuttings, viaducts and culverts.
  • Confined Space Entry and Rescue Cover.
  • The supply of squads to carry out de-veg, rock scaling, and geo-technical work scope.
  • Supply of chainsaw operators.
  • Supply of NPTC qualified technicians for herbicide application
  • Supply of Bridge Examiners.
