Geckotech Solutions Ltd One Year Closer to Painting the Forth
Edinburgh based rope access specialists Geckotech Solutions Ltd have completed another successful year on the Forth Rail Bridge Refurbishment Project.
Geckotech were first brought in to the project in 2008 to provide support services in connection with the locating, preparation and painting of the contact points located over the entire structure. In 2010 the company had a 13 strong team of technicians working throughout the entire structure performing coating activities on a daily basis.
Tens of thousands of man hours have been completed safely in this challenging environment with tens of thousands of contact points completed. Geckotech are extremely proud to be part of the project responsible for bringing this beautiful iconic structure back to her former glory. Managing Director Stephen Pearson says “Everyone at Geckotech should be proud of what has been achieved so far on this project.
Many challenging access problems have been overcome on this intricate structure with all team members acting professionally and optimistically at all times. We all look forward to the final brush strokes in 2011”
